Cisco Support for Lawful Intercept In IP Networks

Along the lines of tapping cables comes a new draft RFC Cisco Support for Lawful Intercept In IP Networks, alternate. This Slashdot thread brought it to my attention. Expect to see more of this in the future. User-applied cryptography is the only way to avoid this sort of scrutiny. Here is an article about it, here's Cisco's page, and here's the fed's page.
